Tambo Cóndor, in partnership with the Sembrando Esperanza Foundation, invites you to take part in "Protecting the Guardians of the Andes", a transformative campaign to preserve two of Ecuador’s most iconic species: the Andean Condor and the Spectacled Bear. Over the next few months, we aim to raise $50,000 to build an Interpretive Center and Guided Trail at Tambo Cóndor, dedicated to educating visitors and protecting the delicate Andean ecosystem.

Every contribution supports a project that goes beyond conservation. It fosters education, inspires sustainable practices, and ensures a brighter future for these majestic creatures. This initiative will teach visitors—especially Ecuadorian children—the importance of preserving these "umbrella species," which play a critical role in maintaining the health of Andean biodiversity.

Why does your support matter?
The Andean Condor and the Spectacled Bear are threatened by habitat loss, hunting, and other human activities. This center will protect existing populations by educating local communities, providing sustainable employment, and promoting environmental stewardship among thousands of visitors.

We are starting this campaign with a small goal: to raise $10,000 by the end of May.

Our second goal is to raise $20,000 by the Day of the Condor on July 7, 2025.

Our long-term goal is to raise the entire amount needed to build the center by December 31, 2025.
