Join us on Saturday, April 5th, 2025 for our 5th annual Trash-A-Thon. Here is the rough schedule for the day: 9.00AM: Gather at your designated trash pickup location (this information will be emailed to you the Wednesday before the event) 9.15AM: Trash pickup time! 10.15AM: Drop trash bags at designated spot and head back to CPNS 10.30AM: Celebrate with us at the Trash-A-Thon Bash! All Trash-A-Thon cleanup participants must register by clicking on the "Register / Donate" button on the top right of this page. Registration will close on Wednesday, 4/2. Current CPNS families will be picking up trash with their class group. Friends/families of current CPNS members can indicate if they'd like to be grouped with a current CPNS family in the form. All other participants will be assigned to a group of the organizer's choice. If you do join us in cleaning up College Park, fill free to dress up in your best superhero costume - You ARE saving the Earth one trash bag at a time, after all! After our hard work, we will celebrate together at the Trash-A-Thon Bash (Trash Bash for short). There are lots of exciting activities to look forward to: Free snacks and drinks, ice cream from Mister Magic Ice Cream*, an art activity led by College Park Art Exchange, a touch-a-bike station by College Park Bicycles, games run by UMD’s Early Childhood Interaction Lab, a learning station by the PG County Audubon Society, a used book sale*, a story time corner, a raffle** table, and many more games and activities for the whole family! All are welcome - Admission is free, but donations will be graciously accepted! * Admission and food are free, but ice cream is sold separately by Mister Magic Ice Cream, which accepts CASH ONLY.
