Education is a treasure and the best way to keep our communities moving forward. At Don Juan Mex Grill, we believe in the power of education as a tool to better our communities. Every year, we award two $500 scholarships to Lehigh Valley high school seniors. To apply for this scholarship, students must have at least a 3.00 GPA and submit a 500 word essay explaining “how you would impact your community in a positive way after graduating from college or trade school”. Please remember to include your home address.  The essay should be emailed to  info@donjuanmexgrill.com  with the word SCHOLARSHIP in the subject line.

HACUIES Abroad Scholarship

Available to: College Freshmen through College Seniors 
Award Amount: Awards from $2,500 – $5,000 

The HACUIES Abroad Scholarship is available to students who are currently attending a Hispanic-Serving Institution that is a member of Hispanic Association of Colleges & Universities (HACU). You must be a US citizen or permanent resident, have a minimum GPA of 3.3, and demonstrate financial need to be eligible for this award. Priority given to first generation college students and/or Federal Pell Grant recipients.

Tommy Nunez Foundation Scholarship

Available to: College Freshmen
Award Amount: Varies

The Tommy Nunez Foundation Scholarship is available to graduating high school seniors. You must be in good standing with your school and possess an educational / career goal to be considered for this award.

Ventures Scholars Program

Available to: High School Freshmen to College Freshmen 
Award Amount: $10,000

The Ventures Scholars Program is open to underrepresented and first-generation college-bound students. You must be pursuing a math or science-based career to be considered for this award.
